Poisonous Pets from October Inferno! Those are adorable. How I’d be able to keep one away from the Kittens of Chaos, I have no idea. But they’re darling.

“Snow Fright” - my zombie version of Jenny Chung’s art work I painted for a friend.  Combines my love of Disney and terror of zombies.  Snow knows how to still look hot despite her slightly green tinged skin and patches of skin missing.  She enjoys nibbles on hearts instead of apples.

How'd you make the jurassic park shoes?? I love them!

They were actually really easy to make.  I started with a pair of blue canvas shoes that I already owned.  For the design I wanted the shoes to be black hence all the glitter.  If you don’t want glitter every where I would suggest plain black shoes or pre-glittered shoes.

The image I used was the JP logo printed from my computer.  I decoupaged it onto the canvas shoes applying the glue several times.  The red ink had bled a little so I painted over it. After it was dry I sprayed it with a clear sealant to try and protect the image. Then using a paint brush I covered the rest of the canvas with more glue and applied the glitter (I used ultra fine glitter).  I tried to make a mixture of glue and glitter and apply it but that didn’t work too well for me.

Because they weren’t black to begin with I had to let the glue and glitter dry (shaking off excess glitter) and redo the process again.  If you decide to do this I would suggest starting with a pair of black shoes because it is a bit more forgiving if you miss a spot.  Mine you can’t tell unless you get up close, but I know I missed a few spots.

I made Jurassic Park bows which you can see on my blog.  Also, I made femur earrings which I will be posting on my blog soon.

If you decide to make the shoes let me know how they turn out!  I am planning on trying to make a pair of comic book shoes next.

Jurassic Park glitter shoes I made for Jurassic Park 3D!  These were fun to make but also a pain.  If I ever want to do this again I would skip the glitter and paint the canvas the color I want (if it wasn’t already what I wanted) or buy them already glittered.
